One es una de las canciones más exitosas y reconocidas del grupo Irlandés U2, editada originalmente en el álbum Achtung Baby del año 1992, el cual marcó el primer gran cambio en el sonido del grupo ubicándolos en un lugar de vanguardia.

La canción según la interpretación del mismo Bono, sobre un chico homosexual el cual busca la aceptación de su padre, y sufre al no encontrarla. Sobre éste punto el líder del grupo declaró no entender por que la canción es utilizada para bodas o eventos relacionados con el amor, cuando se trata de una letra dirigida al dolor.

Sin dudas es parte integral del sonido de la década del 90, y es uno de los últimos grandes clásicos de la música popular al nivel de grandes canciones desde The Beatles en adelante.
